Our Why
When someone is walking through cancer, there are moments when medicine can’t reach what the heart is carrying. We’ve sat with families who felt overwhelmed, exhausted, and afraid — not just for today, but for everything that lies ahead. In those moments, people don’t always need answers. They need to know they are not alone. They need to be held in hope. That is why we offer prayer services to patients in treatment. We believe prayer is not a last resort — it is a lifeline. It brings comfort when words fall short, strength when the days feel unbearable, and peace when fear tries to take over. Whether whispered quietly at home or shared by a community standing in faith together, prayer reminds each patient that their life is seen, valued, and loved. Our mission is simple: to surround every cancer patient we serve with compassion, faith, and unwavering support. To lift their names when they are too tired to speak. To stand in the gap when they feel weak. To bring light into places that feel impossibly dark. Because no one should walk the cancer journey alone — and no one should have to carry it without hope.

Cancer is hard in many respects. Sometimes it is difficult to even understand how you are feeling. Fear, anxiety, depression and many more emotions can creep in, individually or together. Grief can set in, grieving the life you once knew.
One resource that may be able to help you a little each day to identify your emotions and take them to the Lord is the recently published "The Abide Process Journal: Growing Intimacy with Jesus (and yourself!)."
You can click here to order a copy from Amazon or reach out to us and we would be honored to provide you with one.
Getting through each day during treatment can be challenging in itself. At times, you may need help finding focus, peace, or simply a way to draw closer to the Lord during difficult moments.
The Kairos Daily Journal is designed to bring you into a deeper, more intimate relationship with God, every day.
You can click here to learn more and purchase a journal, or reach out to us directly and we would be honored to send one to you.
