Cancer treatment is filled with moments that are physically exhausting and emotionally overwhelming — and it’s often the small comforts that make the biggest difference. Kat’s Corner was created in honor of that truth. We saw firsthand how the simplest things — a soft blanket, warm socks, a soothing wrap, or relief from the burning pain in hands and feet — could bring comfort on the hardest days. These items don’t cure cancer, but they restore dignity, ease discomfort, and remind patients that they are seen as people, not just patients. Kat’s Corner exists to provide care and comfort during treatment through thoughtfully assembled comfort kits and targeted support projects, including cryotherapy supplies and other items that help manage the physical side effects of cancer therapies. Every item is chosen with intention, compassion, and understanding of what patients actually experience day to day. This is about more than supplies. It’s about kindness delivered at the right moment. It’s about easing pain when treatment takes its toll. It’s about reminding someone in the middle of their fight that they matter. Because sometimes comfort is hope — and hope can change everything.
